How we chose
Every agency on this list passed five tests:
- A published GEO service. A dedicated page for generative engine optimization, answer engine optimization or AI search on the agency's own site, not a passing mention.
- Leads, not mentions. The service is framed around demos, enquiries, pipeline or revenue. Agencies that sell AI visibility as a brand metric alone didn't make the cut.
- A way to prove it. Attribution into GA4 or a CRM, self-reported attribution, or pipeline reporting the client can check.
- Evidence. Named client results or a published method.
- A distinct fit. Each agency suits a different kind of buyer, so the list covers more than one budget, market and way of working.
Every fact about the other ten agencies comes from their own websites, checked on 13 October 2026. The results quoted are their own claims.
1. GTMLab
Best for: lead-generation businesses in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, such as hospitals and clinics, hotels and villas, property developers and B2B services, that want AI visibility measured in leads and revenue rather than mentions.
GTMLab is a growth agency with teams in Jakarta, Hong Kong and New York, run by 100+ senior operators that include ex-founders, Y Combinator alumni and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree. It has worked with 200+ brands and operated $20M+ in ad spend.
Its AI search optimization service has no fixed content quota. Each day the team checks what changed for a client's buyer prompts in the AI engines, picks the few tasks that drive most of the result, does them wherever AI is reading about the brand that week, and logs each one with the reason behind it.
How it ties AI search to leads
- AI referrals are tracked as their own source in GA4 on every plan. On Growth and Scale, they're tracked in your CRM too, so an enquiry from ChatGPT can be followed to a booked call or a closed deal.
- The same operators run paid media, landing pages, WhatsApp follow-up and the CRM, so a lead that arrives from an AI answer gets the same fast follow-up as one from an ad.
- Every client gets a dashboard of where they're named and who's named instead, a daily task log with win alerts, and a call every two weeks.
Proof: for IHH Healthcare, GTMLab built a lead engine across three hospital brands (Gleneagles, Pantai and Prince Court) that reached 5,000+ qualified leads in 10 weeks, with cost per lead down 70% and weekly lead volume up about 5×.
That engagement ran on Meta ads, not AI search, but it's the same lead system GTMLab connects AI search to. On the search side, GTMLab built and runs search for medifly.ai: between mid-June and late September 2026, its organic clicks grew about 4× and impressions about 5.6×. The case study is candid that there's no AI-citation data yet, so this is the search groundwork that AI answers draw on.
Pricing and guarantee: Essential at $499 a month (30 logged tasks, 40 prompts tracked across 3 AI engines), Growth at $999 (70 tasks, 90 prompts, 4 engines, CRM tracking) and Scale at $1,999 (140 tasks, 150 prompts, 5 engines, re-run daily). Plans start on a six-month term, then run month to month. GTMLab guarantees a number of prompts where you're named every quarter; miss it and you don't pay.
Less suited to: US software companies that want a large content and digital PR program run from the US. Rock The Rankings, Discovered Labs and Directive are built for that.
2. Rock The Rankings
Best for: Series A to D B2B SaaS companies, roughly $2M to $50M in annual recurring revenue.
Rock The Rankings is a SaaS GEO agency founded in 2019 by Justin Berg, serving tech companies in North America and Europe. Its work covers prompt mapping, comparison and alternative pages, technical access for AI crawlers (llms.txt, schema and robots rules) and PR.
- How it proves leads: "demos booked, pipeline attributed, proven in your CRM". It wires up the CRM and GA4, adds a self-reported "how did you hear about us" question to intake forms, reconciles the two (its "Two-Witness" method), and grades its reports against a forecast agreed before kickoff.
- Results it reports: a 127% lift in attributed demo requests for Rasa, and 2.9× WaitWell's demo forecast.
- Pricing: published, from $4,500 a month on 90-day terms.
3. Discovered Labs
Best for: B2B SaaS companies that want a specialist answer engine optimization team.
Discovered Labs was co-founded by Liam Dunne and Ben Moore and runs its own AI Visibility Tracker. Its method has two named parts: CITABLE, a framework for content AI engines can quote, and OPERABLE, an eight-point audit of how ready a site is for AI agents, covering llms.txt, schema and WebMCP.
- How it proves leads: it tracks pipeline attribution from AI-referred traffic through to trials, opportunities and revenue.
- Results it reports: 7× sales-accepted leads for Gladia, and a 167% lift in demo requests for Sova.
- Worth knowing: it publishes its own research, including a study of 2 million AI citations across 10,000 pages.
- Pricing: published, from €6,995 a month on a six-month term; a one-off diagnostic costs €4,370.
4. RevenueZen
Best for: B2B and professional-services firms with mid-size budgets.
RevenueZen is based in Portland, Oregon. Its GEO service monitors AI referrals in GA4 and brand mentions in AI answers, adds schema aimed at Google's AI Overviews, and works on conversion and lead nurture for visitors who arrive from AI.
- How it proves leads: it measures how well AI-sourced MQLs turn into SQLs, then reviews pipeline value, closed deals and ROI in the client's CRM. It says AI-sourced sign-ups convert twice as well as organic ones.
- Worth knowing: it has dedicated pages for professional services, healthcare and financial services.
- Pricing: published, $3,000 to $15,000 a month; the full GEO program starts at the $10,000 tier, with month-to-month terms available.
5. Blend
Best for: private-equity-backed and mid-market B2B companies that run on HubSpot, including those outside software.
Blend has offices in Reading, UK and the Atlanta area of Georgia, US. Its answer engine optimization service starts with an audit benchmarked against competitors, then maps prompts and personas, adds schema and answer-ready content, and sets up the Scrunch AI visibility platform.
- How it proves leads: HubSpot reporting that connects AI-sourced traffic to pipeline and revenue, combining self-reported and HubSpot attribution from first touch to closed customer. On its own site, it reports a 250% rise in high-intent leads from AI sources.
- Worth knowing: a HubSpot partner since 2015, now at Diamond tier, and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified. Clients it names include Amazon and Allica Bank.
- Pricing: not published.
6. Directive
Best for: mid-market and enterprise B2B tech companies that want GEO inside a full-funnel demand-generation program.
Directive has offices in Orange County, Austin, New York, Mexico City, London and Toronto. Its GEO service covers entity and topic mapping, AI content optimization and structured data, run through its DiscoverabilityOS method (Model, Define, Captivate, Convert, Scale) and its Stratos technology.
- How it proves leads: it reports pipeline influence, using citation tracking, branded impression monitoring and interaction modeling to tie AI visibility to funnel impact.
- Results it reports: a 20% increase in demo bookings over forecast for Case Status.
- Pricing: not published.
7. Breaking B2B
Best for: B2B SaaS and service firms that win buyers with bottom-of-funnel pages.
Breaking B2B builds entity-rich pages written to be quoted: alternatives, comparison and best-of pages. It pairs them with PR for brand mentions and placements in the listicles AI engines draw on.
- How it proves leads: citations are tied to demos and qualified pipeline, not vanity mentions. In its words, "the goal is booked calls".
- Results it reports: 91% more visitors from AI search for Proposify, and a 115% lift in demos.
- Worth knowing: it has pages for fintech, logistics and construction, and names Vidyard, Chili Piper and RB2B as clients.
- Pricing: published. Plans start at $4,600 a month on a 12-month term; AI search is included from the Silver plan ($6,000 to $6,500 a month) upward.
8. Powered by Search
Best for: B2B SaaS companies that want GEO inside demand generation and account-based marketing.
Powered by Search is a fully remote B2B agency working across 8+ countries, focused on B2B tech since 2009. Its GEO work runs on the RAISE framework (Relevance, Access, Information density, Source authority, Engagement), starting with a RAISE audit, then comparison content AI can extract answers from, schema and entity signals.
- How it proves leads: it measures pipeline influence, AI referral traffic and branded demand, aiming for higher-quality demo volume and lower blended acquisition cost.
- Worth knowing: its homepage promises "30% more sales ready opportunities in 90 days. Guaranteed." Client logos include Basecamp, Elastic and SentinelOne.
- Pricing: not published.
9. Optimist
Best for: in-house B2B marketing teams that want senior GEO strategy rather than content production.
Optimist was founded in 2016 by Tyler Hakes. Its GEO service starts with a CORE Analysis that scores 21 factors across seven layers, maps the related questions an AI engine expands a prompt into, and works on entities and the knowledge graph.
- How it proves leads: "we connect GEO to pipeline". It reports LLM-sourced leads, sign-ups and pipeline, and its roadmap includes a forecast of revenue impact.
- Results it reports (clients unnamed): 49× revenue from LLM referrals for a B2B tech client, and 8× conversions from LLMs for a fintech client.
- Pricing: published, GEO consulting from $3,000 a month, month to month.
10. Omniscient Digital
Best for: well-funded B2B software brands.
Omniscient Digital has offices in Austin, New York, San Francisco, Chicago and Boston. Its answer engine optimization work models buyer prompts from customer research and sales calls, builds comparison content, and uses research-led digital PR to shape the sources AI engines cite.
- How it proves leads: "a citation isn't a business outcome". It ties visibility to web analytics, self-reported attribution, CRM data and qualitative customer research.
- Results it reports: OnBoard reached the top AI share of voice in its category, along with qualified meetings. An Order.co executive is quoted on its site saying LLM traffic converts at 30%, against 5% for traditional SEO.
- Pricing: published, full-service from $120,000 a year.
11. WebFX
Best for: small and mid-sized lead-generation businesses outside software.
WebFX is a large US agency, founded in 1995 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, with 750+ staff. Its AI search optimization service covers AI query research and content built to earn authority, tracked in its own OmniSEO tool across 10+ AI platforms.
- How it proves leads: its RevenueCloudFX ROI-tracking platform comes with every plan, and it reports 12,335 leads driven for clients from AI sources. The lead framing is lighter than the other agencies here.
- Pricing: published, from $3,000 a month on a six-month commitment, up to $68,250 a month.
What leads from AI search are worth
AI search still sends a small share of visits, but several studies find those visitors arrive closer to a decision:
- Ahrefs found that AI search brought 0.5% of its visitors but 12.1% of its sign-ups over 30 days, a conversion rate it put at 23× higher than organic search (June 2025, one site).
- Semrush estimated that the average visitor from AI search is worth 4.4× an organic visitor, based on conversion rate (June 2025).
- Microsoft Clarity, across 1,200+ publisher sites, saw visitors from AI tools sign up at 1.66%, against 0.15% from search (November 2025).
- Octane11, across 400 million B2B sessions, found about 1 in 11 closed-won deals had a touch from AI search (Q2 2026).
It isn't true everywhere. A University of Hamburg working paper on 973 online shops found ChatGPT referrals converted worse than every traditional channel except paid social (November 2025). For lead generation, the pattern is clearest where buyers research before they enquire, which is most B2B, healthcare and high-value services. That's also why measuring leads matters more than counting citations: the only way to know what AI search is worth to you is to follow its visitors to the enquiry and the deal.
How to track leads from AI search
You can set up the basics before you hire anyone:
- Use GA4's AI channel, and know its gaps. Since 13 May 2026, GA4 has a built-in AI Assistant channel covering ChatGPT, Gemini, DeepSeek, Copilot and Grok. Google's own AI Overviews and AI Mode still count as Organic Search, Perplexity isn't on Google's list, and visits from AI apps that arrive without a referrer land in Direct.
- Add a custom channel group. In GA4, create a channel where the source matches a regex such as
(chatgpt\.com|openai\.com|perplexity|gemini\.google\.com|copilot\.microsoft\.com|claude\.ai|deepseek\.com|grok\.com), and place it above Referral. Custom channel groups apply to past data too. - Let ChatGPT tag its clicks. ChatGPT adds
utm_source=chatgpt.comto the links it sends, as long as your robots.txt lets OpenAI's search crawler (OAI-SearchBot) in. - Ask buyers. Add "an AI assistant like ChatGPT or Gemini" as an option to "How did you hear about us?" on your forms. Self-reported answers catch the AI-influenced leads that analytics can't see.
- Carry the source into your CRM. Save the first source and the self-reported answer on the lead record, so you can see which AI-sourced leads became customers.
How to choose a GEO agency for lead generation
- Lead-generation business in Southeast Asia or Hong Kong (healthcare, hospitality, property, B2B services) that wants a fixed monthly price, a quarterly guarantee and leads followed into the CRM: GTMLab.
- B2B SaaS that wants demos proven in the CRM: Rock The Rankings or Discovered Labs.
- Running on HubSpot: Blend.
- GEO as part of a full demand-generation or ABM program: Directive or Powered by Search.
- Winning on comparison and alternative pages: Breaking B2B.
- An in-house team that wants a strategist, not a content contract: Optimist.
- Large budget, research-led program: Omniscient Digital.
- Small or mid-sized business outside software, on a set budget: WebFX or RevenueZen.
Whoever you shortlist, ask each AI search agency the same question on the first call: "Show me how you'd prove a lead came from AI search, in my CRM, three months from now." The good ones answer with their reporting, not their citation counts.

Frequently asked questions
What does a GEO agency for lead generation do?
It works to get your business named in the answers ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI give to buyer questions, and then proves that those answers bring enquiries. Beyond the usual GEO work, which covers pages AI can quote, consistent facts across the web and mentions on the sites AI trusts, it tracks AI-sourced visitors into your forms, your CRM and your closed deals.
How much does a GEO agency cost?
On this list, published prices run from $499 a month (GTMLab's Essential plan) to $120,000 a year (Omniscient Digital's full service). Most specialist B2B agencies charge $3,000 to $15,000 a month. Many work on six-month or 12-month terms, because being named consistently in AI answers takes months.
How long does it take for AI search to bring leads?
Fixes like letting AI crawlers in, adding schema or publishing a page that answers a key question can show up in AI answers within weeks. Being named consistently for the questions that bring buyers usually takes a few months, which is why most agencies here plan in quarters and price on six-month terms.
Can you track leads that come from ChatGPT?
Yes, with a few gaps. ChatGPT tags its clicks with utm_source=chatgpt.com, and GA4's AI Assistant channel groups visits from ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and others. A custom channel group catches the rest, and a "How did you hear about us?" option on your forms catches buyers who read an AI answer and then came to your site another way.
Do leads from AI search convert better than leads from Google?
Often, but not always. Studies by Ahrefs, Semrush and Microsoft Clarity found AI visitors convert several times better than organic search visitors, while a study of 973 online shops found the opposite for ChatGPT referrals. The difference tends to be biggest where buyers research carefully before they enquire, as in B2B, healthcare and high-value services.
Is a GEO agency different from an SEO agency?
GEO builds on SEO: AI engines lean on pages that search engines already trust. A generative engine optimization agency adds the work SEO doesn't cover, such as tracking which businesses each AI names for your buyers' questions, earning mentions on the sources AI cites, and measuring AI-sourced leads separately.
See where you stand first
Before you speak to any GEO marketing agency, see what AI says about you today. GTMLab's AI visibility check asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews and Claude what a customer in your city would ask, then shows who they name instead of you, where they got their facts, what to fix first, and how fast your site loads on a phone. It takes about a minute, with no sign-up for the first read. When you're ready to compare plans, they're on the pricing page.
