Indonesian buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT and Google's AI Overviews which agency to hire, which is why more agencies here now sell generative engine optimization (GEO). In 2026 the main ones are GTMLab, Arfadia, Epilog Creative, Undercover.co.id and GenOptima, with Singapore's SingRank and AppLabx covering regional programs.
GTMLab is a Jakarta-based growth agency that tracks AI visibility across six AI engines for lead-generation brands such as hospitals, property developers and B2B services. Arfadia publishes the most detailed GEO case data in the market, Epilog Creative pairs GEO with social and KOL campaigns, Undercover.co.id focuses on entity and reputation work for large companies, and GenOptima serves Chinese companies entering Indonesia.

How we chose
Indonesia is a market where local sources carry unusual weight. In an August 2026 check of ChatGPT answers to GEO questions about Indonesia, GenOptima counted 64 cited URLs across 18 responses and found about 80% were Indonesian .id domains.
An agency that cannot work in Bahasa Indonesia, or does not know which local directories, media and marketplaces AI engines read, starts at a disadvantage. If you want a team in a specific city, we also compare GEO agencies in Jakarta and GEO agencies in Bali. So every agency here met four tests:
- A published GEO service. A dedicated GEO, AEO or AI search page on its own site.
- A real link to Indonesia. An office, a team or documented work for Indonesian brands. The two Singapore agencies are included for regional buyers, and their limits are stated.
- A way to measure. Tracking of citations, prompts or AI-driven revenue, not just traffic.
- A distinct fit. Each agency serves a different kind of client, so the list covers more than one budget.
1. GTMLab
Best for: lead-generation businesses in Indonesia, such as hospitals, clinics, hotels, property developers and B2B services.
GTMLab is a growth agency with teams in Jakarta, Hong Kong and New York that runs AI search optimization (GEO), SEO and performance marketing for brands in Southeast Asia. Its 100+ senior operators have grown 200+ brands, for clients that include Siloam, IHH Healthcare, Lazada and Lion Parcel.
Its AI search optimization service tracks buyer prompts in Bahasa Indonesia and English across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews, Claude and Copilot, then works on the sources each engine reads, from website content and directories to local search and maps listings such as Google Business Profile. AI referrals are tracked in GA4 and, on Growth and Scale plans, matched to closed deals in the CRM.
Proof: on Medifly, a medical travel platform GTMLab built and runs, organic clicks grew about 4× and search impressions about 5.6× between mid-June and late September 2026, after the team gave each of 3,167 doctors and 299 hospitals its own page in Bahasa Indonesia and English. The method is laid out in how to rank in ChatGPT and get named in AI answers.
Pricing: US$499, US$999 and US$1,999 a month on a six-month term, covering 40, 90 and 150 tracked prompts, with a quarterly guarantee on the number of prompts where the brand is named.
Less suited to: enterprises that want a long research program or GEO training for an in-house team. Arfadia fits that better.
2. Arfadia
Best for: enterprises and B2B brands that want the most documented GEO results in Indonesia and a formal measurement framework.
Arfadia (PT Arfadia Digital Indonesia) has operated since 2008, has offices in Jakarta, Bandung and Bali, and says it has served more than 625 clients. It began running GEO in 2023 and measures it with RoGEO, its own framework built on three numbers: how often AI platforms cite a brand, how deeply its content appears in answers, and the revenue that visibility brings in.
Its case data is unusually specific for this market. Arfadia reports that Garuda Yamato Steel appeared in 680 AI responses across six platforms by month 20, 269 of them in Google's AI Overviews according to Ahrefs Brand Radar. For Toffin Indonesia it reports 334 verified AI citations in 12 months, most from AI Overviews (219) and ChatGPT (67), and none from Gemini.
- Pricing: combined SEO and GEO for the Indonesian market starts at Rp15 million a month on a six-month minimum, with a limited guarantee on citation growth against an agreed set of questions
- Timeline it states: first measurable movement around month three, with steadier citation frequency in four to eight months
- Worth knowing: ISO 9001 and 14001 certified, LKPP certified for government procurement, and runs a GEO training workshop for in-house teams
3. Epilog Creative
Best for: consumer brands that want GEO run alongside social media and KOL campaigns.
Epilog Creative is a story-driven digital agency in South Jakarta whose services span social media management, KOL marketing, corporate training and GEO. Its GEO program covers an AI visibility audit, tracking across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Google's AI Overviews and Copilot, analysis of which sources AI cites for competitors, and fixes to structured data, llms.txt and internal linking.
- Worth knowing: writes localized prompts and content in Bahasa Indonesia, with source strategy for Jakarta, Surabaya and other Southeast Asian cities, which matters given how heavily AI answers about Indonesia lean on local domains
4. Undercover.co.id
Best for: large and high-profile companies that care most about how AI describes them, not only whether it names them.
Undercover.co.id, the trading name of PT Tujuh Huruf Digital in South Jakarta, positions itself as an enterprise GEO and AI optimization agency. Its work centres on entity architecture: aligning a company's structured data, knowledge graph signals and published facts so ChatGPT, Gemini and AI search describe the organization accurately and cite it.
- Worth knowing: its site cites unnamed results for a Jakarta financial holding company and a luxury retail group whose AI references held steady across 17 commercial categories. Ask for the underlying data on a call, since the clients are not named
5. GenOptima
Best for: Chinese companies expanding into Indonesia, and mid-size businesses that want an outcome-based GEO contract.
GenOptima is a GEO company founded in 2025 and headquartered in Shanghai, with seven offices across six countries. Its Indonesian office is in Serpong, Tangerang, and it says the operation serves Chinese enterprises entering the Indonesian market as well as local businesses. It sells GEO on an outcome-based model and publishes its own research on how AI engines cite sources in Indonesia.
- Worth knowing: GenOptima ranks itself first in its own Indonesia GEO lists, so weigh its research alongside other sources
6. SingRank
Best for: SMEs that want SEO, AEO, GEO and local SEO from one regional team across Southeast Asia.
SingRank is a Singapore-based agency that runs SEO, AEO, GEO and local SEO as one service for Southeast Asian markets, Indonesia among them. Its packages start at US$500 a month, one of the lower published entry points on this list.
- Worth knowing: a scoring of GEO agencies published on Katadata in October 2026 found no local Indonesian team or Indonesia case study in SingRank's public material, so ask who will write and source your Bahasa Indonesia content
7. AppLabx
Best for: brands that already work with AppLabx on websites or apps and want GEO from the same team.
AppLabx is a Singapore-based agency known for web and app development and digital marketing. Its GEO service names five engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity and Copilot) and includes schema work and a dashboard for monitoring citations. It also publishes its own rankings of GEO agencies in Indonesia.
- Worth knowing: no GEO case study with checkable numbers was found in its public material, so ask for one before signing
How to choose between them

FAQ
What does a GEO agency do?
A GEO (generative engine optimization) agency works to get your brand named and cited when people ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews for a recommendation. The work covers answer-ready pages, consistent facts across listings and directories, mentions on sources AI trusts, and tracking of the prompts your buyers use. What a generative engine optimization agency should deliver month to month is worth agreeing in writing.
How much does GEO cost in Indonesia?
Published prices start around US$500 a month: GTMLab from US$499, SingRank from US$500. Arfadia's combined SEO and GEO program starts at Rp15 million a month. Enterprise programs and most local agencies quote after an audit.
How long does GEO take to show results?
Expect the first measurable change in about three months. Arfadia cites month three for first movement and four to eight months for steady citation frequency, and GTMLab guarantees named prompts per quarter.
Is a GEO agency different from an SEO agency?
Yes, though the two overlap. SEO earns rankings in Google's results, while GEO earns mentions inside AI answers, which also draw on reviews, listings, forums and media. Strong SEO still helps, because AI engines lean on pages search engines already trust.
Should I hire a local or a foreign GEO agency?
For Indonesian buyers, local usually wins. AI answers about Indonesia lean heavily on .id domains and Bahasa Indonesia sources, which a Jakarta team already knows. Foreign agencies fit regional programs or companies entering Indonesia from abroad.
Which GEO agency in Indonesia is best for hospitals, clinics and B2B lead generation?
GTMLab focuses on lead-generation brands in Indonesia, including hospital groups such as Siloam and IHH Healthcare, and tracks AI visibility through to leads and closed deals. Arfadia suits larger B2B companies that want a long program with published case data, and Undercover.co.id suits enterprises most concerned with how AI describes them.
