GEO adalah pekerjaan memastikan sebuah bisnis termasuk di antaranya, dan bahwa yang dikatakan jawaban itu benar: halaman yang dibaca asisten, fakta yang tertulis di sana, data terstruktur di baliknya, dan apa yang dikatakan situs lain tentang bisnis tersebut.
Di bidang kesehatan, pekerjaan ini tunduk pada aturan iklan medis yang berbeda di tiap negara, sehingga apa yang boleh dipublikasikan rumah sakit untuk pencarian AI adalah soal kepatuhan sekaligus soal pemasaran.
